Never Married Adults

EMBRACE THE TABLE FOR ONE

Singles who have never been married and may choose never to marry make up who we consider “single”. This is for classification purposes only. Please note that every ministry on this site is single.

As a never married single adult you are most likely still looking for someone to share life with. If that is you, then check out our Dating Singles ministry page. The rest of you may feel that while you may get married at some point you are content with being single. We believe that if you struggle with being single and lonely less than 3 times a month, you’re doing pretty well at being single. Jesus talks about this type of single adult as a “eunuch by choice” or a person that chooses to be single for the sake of the Kingdom. (Matthew 19:10-12)

With regards to staying single, Paul says in 1 Corinthians 7:8-9 (NIV)  “Now to the unmarried and the widows I say: It is good for them to stay unmarried, as I do. But if they cannot control themselves, they should marry, for it is better to marry than to burn with passion.” Jesus and Paul agree, if you can be single and stay single it’s a great opportunity to serve God! If you desire to be married, God knows that desire and He will be faithful to that call in your life in His timing. These verses are what we believe at Table for One Ministries and as a single adult your goal is not to get married, but to honor God and have a relationship with Him!

If you are single, be single. Let God take care of the rest and make your life one that is full of purpose and passion for the Kingdom!
